A RESULT is the final consequence of a sequence of actions or events expressed qualitatively or quantitatively.   (Wikipedia)  However, reaching no RESULT can mean that actions are inefficient, ineffective, meaningless or flawed.

 

Results are associated with EVERYTHING.  For example, we save money…the result is earned interest.  We go to work…the result is earned income.  We lift heavy things…the result is we get stronger.  In other words, for every action…there is a reaction or RESULT.  If you are anything like me, you constantly search for ways to maximize your RESULTS…at everything?  

 

Sometimes RESULTS are hard to wait for.  We live in a culture where RESULTS are expected NOW!  We don’t have to look very far to see the work of “MARKETERS” bombarding us with “break through” innovations offering fast effective RESULTS.  There are pills manufactured today for just about everything.  The one I like the most is, “Restless Leg Syndrome”…what is that?!  I don’t know, but there is a pill for it.  It will give you diarrhea and give you thoughts of suicide, but your legs will feel better…I guess.   You wanna lose weight, there is a pill for that, break through secrets everywhere with promises claiming significant RESULTS…   We are tempted by this stuff everywhere we turn.

 

If you want to achieve sustainable, meaningful RESULTS in the area of Health and Fitness, you have to accept that it is a long haul game and requires consistent work and patience.  There are no short cuts…
