I’m from the booming metropolis of Lebanon, WI (population: unincorporated). I went to college in St. Paul and fell in love with the Twin Cities. After I graduated from PT school, I moved back. I live in Plymouth with my husband, Marc. We love doing anything and everything as long as it involves spending time with good people. Being the Wisconsin girl that I am, I also have a passion for BEER and CHEESE.
I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and went on to play college volleyball at Concordia-St. Paul, where we won 4 DII national titles (super fun!).
I was introduced to CrossFit through my roommate at the time, THE Ellie Richards, who had been going to SISU for 6 or 7 months when she convinced me to come to a class after work one day. I had been dragging my feet because of the intimidation factor. But I did it. I came, I worked out, and I immediately drank the CrossFit Kool-Aid. I was hooked. I loved the atmosphere and the intensity, something I had been missing since college athletics. And, of course, the people at SISU are so warm and welcoming!
Why I Coach
Part of what makes SISU such a special gym is the coaching. The coaches are fun, welcoming, encouraging, and just good people who want to see you succeed. The environment they create is what keeps people coming back. I am excited to be able to be a part of that environment and to help people succeed and reach their potential.
