I was introduced to CrossFit in 2016 when my husband signed us up for a free trial. My husband is a long-distance runner, currently, ultra trail races are his jam. CrossFit was all new to us, especially me – I’d never touched a barbell or kettlebell before starting CrossFit. I was the globo gym member who went in the door the minimum number of times per month and did the occasional class but sometimes didn’t even touch the equipment. CrossFit changed all that for me. I’ve learned skills that I’d never thought were possible – that first pull-up and first rope climb. I’ve built confidence both inside the gym and in life. The CrossFit community changed my life in many more ways.

And that’s why I coach, I love helping everyone – whether an athlete continuing their fitness journey or someone brand new, you can accomplish new skills, try new events, and meet people who will impact your life. 

I enjoy trying new activities or events and have done everything from local CrossFit events to an ultramarathon to powerlifting meets. In my free time, I spend a lot of time hiking and have done some incredible backpacking trips and one cycling trip in Croatia. Staying healthy and strong in the gym lets me enjoy any adventure.
