I’m just an immigrant kid trying to out kick my coverage and somehow succeeded with a beautiful wife & two smart kids who put up with my golf addiction and a lot of quirks!
I’m a recently retired attorney after 27 years, having focused my practice on civil litigation and employment law. I try to bring different perspectives to each issue rather than always taking something at face value and an encouragement to think outside the box.
FINDING CROSSFIT & WHAT MADE IT STICK
My wife started going to the 5am CrossFit classes about three years ago. That was the end of sleeping in for me, but it was the beginning of CrossFit and a healthier lifestyle. The SISU community, culture, variety of classes and instructors are some of the many reasons I’ve stuck with it.
JOINING THE SISU LEADERSHIP ADVISORY
I was honored when asked to be part of the SLA because of what SISU stands for and strives to provide for its members. This Advisory Group is an example of how SISU leadership works to bring an inclusive and idea-sharing culture for the betterment of its members and business growth.
In the time I’ve served on the SLA, I’ve learned so much about the inner-workings of SISU leadership and the business issues they are confronted daily. To this end, I’ve developed an even greater amount of appreciation and respect for what Pat and Thomas have built at SISU, and how they don’t waver from core principles and values of serving the membership.
I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 3 years – all at SISU!
