SISU Specialty Clinic – Inversion Mastery

Clinic will be held at SISU Plymouth. Instructors: Sam Hovda & Christina Schlitz
During this seminar, we will be going over 3 major handstand movements.
First, we will be working on our getting comfortable upside down in a basic handstand. We will start with proper kick up technique into the wall and transition that to free standing progressions as the athlete grows their skill base. During this time, we will also practice proper bailing techniques.
Second, we will go over handstand push ups. We will look at proper set up and break down the different dynamic parts of the movement.
Lastly, we will work on handstand walking and reviewing various progressions to grow the athlete’s ability and confidence.
Athletes who attend this seminar should expect to walk away with greater confidence in getting upside down and a better understanding of what progressions they can use in order to better their abilities.
